The title for the show was brought about as Justin and I discussed the way many adults will refer to the teens as “The Future” of The Church. which sadly allows us to put off until tomorrow the things that we need to address today. The youth and particularly teens are “The NOW!” of the The Church because if we do not “Get” them now…we will not have a future with them in it! So they are THE NOW of The Church. Hence the title of the new podcast. This is the first one where we talk to Justin about how he became involved in Youth Ministry and a little about his history before coming to St. Joan’s. We also talk about our hope for the Lenten Lock In we have scheduled for 3/21/14. Check out the show and let us know what you think!
